YouTube CEO Impersonated In AI-Generated Phishing Scam
The fake video of the YouTube CEO has been shared privately with creators claiming YouTube is tweaking the monetization policy.
YouTube posted an announcement on its help page that says, ‘YouTube and its employees will never attempt to contact you or share information through a private video.’

While one user reported receiving an email from an account entitled ‘Notification for YouTube creator,’ the other reported receiving the email from ‘Channel for creators.’ One of them asked the user to download a corrupted file, and one spread rumors about changes in the monetization policies.
