YouTube update: Starting August 12, 2025, new features are expanded to enhance creators’ promotional tools and accessibility. In the latest update, three new features have been introduced. YouTube is giving creators more control to express themselves with Community Posts, more CTA options, and the ability to edit auto dub clips.
Let us break down each update one by one.
YouTube Updates: Trio Features Launched For Creators
Share More Updates and Images On Community Posts
Recently, YouTube has enhanced community posts to feature in YouTube Shorts, increasing their visibility to a broader audience and wider reach. To utilize this reach, YouTube has now expanded the previous limit of uploading 5 images to 10 images in a community post. This allows creators to interact more with their subscribers, share updates, behind-the-scenes images, step-by-step tutorial guides, and more. The community posts increase the potential to enhance discoverability and encourage users to interact more with the creators. It is currently being rolled out this week across desktop and the YouTube mobile app.
New CTA Options for Promote Button
The next feature update is about the Promote button, which is already accessible to every creator on their apps and desktops. Creators promote their videos directly within the app without going to Google Ads to launch a campaign. But a significant upgrade now is that YouTube will provide more options for the promote button. You can choose CTA buttons such as “Book Now,” “Get Quote,” or “Contact Us,” depending on your content niche and type. This feature is currently only accessible on desktop.
Edit Auto Dub Clips
Lastly, the auto dubbing feature, which automatically translates the audio into multiple languages, was later expanded to include 11 new languages, such as Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, and French, among others. YouTube introduced the feature to help creators save time and effort when translating videos. But earlier, it had no option to re-edit the videos after the dubbing. However, YouTube has now taken note and upgraded the auto dubbing feature. It now allows creators to re-edit videos if there are any misalignments or outdated translations. This was a significant pain point for creators.
With the current YouTube update, creators can make changes in YouTube Studio such as trimming, fixing captions, and resequencing. The AI-generated tool will re-dub and present the revised version as per the creator’s requirements and suggestions.
Conclusion
The three YouTube updates are beneficial to creators at all levels, enabling them to monetize, promote, and engage with their audience. YouTube continuously refines its features to help creators seamlessly enhance visibility, conversions, and global reach.
